2008 was a very good year for Ricardo and VDL horses in Colombia. VDL Bubalu (Baloubet du Rouet x Nimmerdor x Ladykiller), won the National Champioship at 1.50 mts with five clear rounds over courses built by Dutch course designer Rob Jansen.

And the 5 year old, Wenly VDL (Orame x Corrado), won the National Championship for young horses at 1.10 - 1.15 mts. against the twelve best horses out of 70 competitors in a very exciting jump off against the clock.
